About Us
The Doctor is at Your Door provides compassionate, ongoing in-home medical care in the comfort of each patient’s residence—including assisted living communities. Our mission is to support long-term health by managing chronic conditions, overseeing medications, and offering routine visits.

Our team of four highly experienced healthcare providers serves patients across the greater Austin area with dedication and consistency. At every step, The Doctor is at Your Door is committed to attentive, thorough, and compassionate medical care—delivered where patients feel most at ease: at home.
Our Mission
We believe in the power of collaboration. By working closely with home health agencies, nursing staff, and other care partners, we ensure patients receive seamless, well-coordinated support. Many patients also benefit from regular nursing visits, and our providers maintain close communication with those nurses to monitor progress and keep families fully informed.

To make healthcare as accessible as possible, we bring essential services directly to the patient’s home. This includes lab work (blood and urine testing), in-home x-rays, pharmacy delivery partnerships, and hospice coordination when appropriate. Our goal is to provide not just medical treatment, but comfort and dignity at every stage of care.

Unlike many practices, our providers answer their own calls—no answering services, no third-party operators. Patients and families can always reach us directly, ensuring timely, personal communication and building trust through continuity of care.
Insurance & Billing
The Doctor is at Your Door is in-network with many insurance providers, including Medicare, UnitedHealthcare, WellMed, Tricare, and Medicaid (as secondary to Medicare). We are not in-network with Blue Cross or most HMO plans.

Insurance verification is required prior to accepting new patients. Our providers and administrative team can assist with this process. Please have your insurance card (front and back) available.​
Any balance not covered by insurance is the patient’s responsibility. House calls range from $150–$250 per visit. Additional services such as labs, home health, or hospice are billed separately by the respective agencies.
